RASMIR & SATIN PRODUCTS

Rasmir and satin fabrics are often used for the best garments as they are high quality fabrics. It is important to follow these tips on how to take care of our products, made from these materials in order to keep them in the best condition possible .

PRE-TREATMENT. It is best to treat stains as soon as possible. Before washing, treat the stain with a mild detergent or a stain remover liquid suitable for the fabric.

LAUNDRY. If you wish to use a washing machine to clean your garment, then put it in the washing machine on a short cycle using cool water and use a gentle detergent, preferably one designed for delicate fabrics.

HAND WASH. If you prefer hand washing, then soak your garment in a basin of cool water and a gentle detergent for 3 to 5 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with fresh, cool water. Do not twist or turn the satin, as this could cause deformation.

DRYING. It is best to avoid hot air or exposure to the sun for long periods of time on satin fabrics, as heat can cause damage. Prefer to place the fabric on a clean, dry towel. Then roll the towel upwards, with the inside of the towel, applying a light pressure to remove any excess water. Unwrap and allow the item to dry on another dry, clean towel.

IRON. If your garment needs ironing, care must be taken to avoid damage. You should use a low setting on the iron and preferably no steam. Iron your garment from the inside and do not leave the iron on one area of the garment for a long time. You can also try ironing the fabric with a towel on top to avoid damaging the fabric.

LEATHER & SUEDE PRODUCTS

Natural leather protectors are recommended before wear. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading and avoid wet weather. If you’ve invested in suede accessories, also treat them with a protective suede water resistant before wear.

Please note that while our team takes the upmost care in selecting our hides, leather is a natural product and differs from hide to hide. We expect small variations in color due to the hand dyed nature of our product.

Marks and variations in the leather are not considered a fault but are inherent to the natural beauty and uniqueness of the leather.

It is also a good idea to polish/condition leather bags to maintain their appearance and extend their lifetime.
